It will make it easier for Australian industry to reach into our country’s inspiring talent pool of PhD candidates, helping to boost the research heft of Australian businesses.
About the Program
Over ten years, the National Industry PhD Program will train 1300 PhD candidates in industry-research engagement, powerfully deepening links between industry and the research community.
The Program consists of two streams:
The Industry Linked PhD stream offers a stipend boost and support for PhD candidates to undertake research projects co-designed by universities and industry.
The Industry Researcher PhD stream supports industry professionals to do a PhD while retaining their job and salary in industry.
