Pilot-Scale All-Iron Flow Battery Test Rig Development

Campus Plus is thrilled to announce the official commencement of a new Australian Government Department of Education National Industry PhD Project between Energy Storage Industries and The University of Queensland on an industry-focused PhD project aimed at addressing key challenges in the energy storage technology sector.

The project, titled "All-Iron Flow Battery Test Rig Development " focuses on the need for scalable and cost-effective energy storage solutions. It seeks to optimise the key all-iron redox flow battery components and processes to improve energy efficiency and reliability, making the technology a more competitive option for large-scale energy storage applications.

This collaborative effort brings together the academic expertise of A/Prof Bin Luo, A/Prof Chris Menictas and A/Prof Jens Noack and the industry insights of Shane Scarinci to drive innovation and deliver real-world impact through Daniel Chadwick's research.
