Co-design and evaluation of a fully interoperable paediatric burns registry for patients, families and clinicians
Celebrating another successful industry-university research collaboration made possible through the Commonwealth Department of Education’s National Industry PhD Program: Professor Bronwyn Griffin from Griffith University has partnered with Professor Roy Kimble and Erika Dulay at Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service to co-design and evaluate a fully interoperable paediatric burns registry for patients, families and clinicians using automated data capture from electronic medical records.
This project has the potential to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data collection for clinical registries, informing burn care, treatment and prevention.
