This session covers the Grant Management System (GMS) for Round 5 applicants. Sina Rafer and Holly explain how the GMS tracks applications through six stages: pre-rounds, in-rounds, assessment, recommendation, award, and funding request. GRLOs can monitor their applications through different tabs and status updates in the system. Key points include understanding the distinction between tabs, stages, and statuses within the GMS. After submitting applications by the 14th, they move from "Full Application Draft" to "Submitted Full Applications," where growers can track progress through various statuses like "processing," "accepted," and "disbursement in progress."

The session emphasises the importance of clicking the submit button before the deadline and addresses questions about financial commitments, PhD applicant details, and system navigation. Extensions are being considered for universities impacted by the cyclone.
