Automated Emails

This session updates participants on email automation in the Grant Management System (GMS) for an industry PhD program. The GMS now sends automated emails at key milestones, including kickoff date confirmations with LinkedIn templates, application submissions, and payment notifications. Future automation will include award outcomes, embargo lifts, and reporting reminders. Grantees have 12 months from grant signing to complete kickoff, with six-month and nine-month reminders if no student is found. Once students are onboarded, six-monthly reporting is required. Emails are sent to academics with GRLOs CC'd for oversight. Additional updates include: Round 5 results releasing soon, Round 6 opening July 7th, Quarter 3 payments currently processing, and an upcoming Round 6 information session. The system emphasises continuous improvement based on user feedback.
