The regional director presented on payment and finance updates for the National Industry PhD programme. Payments are made quarterly on the 10th of each month (or the next business day) for the preceding quarter: January for Jan-March, April for Apr-June, July for Jul-Sept, and October for Oct-Dec. The major change announced is the shift from party-raised invoices to Recipient Created Tax Invoices (RCTI). Campus Plus will now generate and provide RCTIs to all parties on payment day, which will also serve as remittance advice. Each project will receive a separate RCTI detailing individual financial line items (stipend top-ups, administration costs, and industry subsidies). This streamlined process eliminates the need for universities to raise invoices or request remittance advice, creating a more efficient system for all involved parties.
