This is the third Bitesize session of the year, presented by Sabine Straver and Holly Bell from the NIPhD team. The session focuses on supporting users with the new Grant Management System (GMS) for Round 5 applications, which opened this week for a six-week period. The presenters provide a live walkthrough of the GMS, demonstrating how to create and submit full applications. Key points include: only Rollos received login emails (assistant Rollos can view but not edit this round), applications now have numbers starting with "4", and the system mirrors the Word document template. Resources include a 10-minute video guide and quick start guide. Holly will host drop-in sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the application period. The team emphasises early system testing and welcomes feedback for future improvements.
