This session outlines the payment process for the Campus Plus National Industry PhD Programme. Successful grant recipients will receive funding via direct debit in six-monthly tranches, paid in advance. For Industry Linked streams, universities receive $10,350 annually plus a $6,210 student stipend top-up. For Industry Researcher streams, universities receive $10,350 whilst industry partners receive $41,400 (plus GST).

To commence payments, participants must provide a signed collaborative agreement, confirmation of RTP stipend or fee waiver, student details, and USI. A kickoff meeting will establish payment schedules and reporting requirements. Progress reports are required every six months, focusing on project variations rather than detailed assessments. Payments begin from the programme commencement date and are not backdated. The department will clarify specific guideline interpretations regarding timing and existing projects.
