Key points covered included submission deadlines (11:59 PM AEDT on 31 March), with strong encouragement to submit early. Field of research codes remain unchanged but require manual entry without dropdown menus. Universities must nominate backup contacts (EGROs) who can submit applications if primary staff are unavailable. For Round 5, only Research Engagement Officers (REOs) will have system access, with academic collaborators gaining access from Round 6 onwards. The team emphasised that PDFs must not be password-protected or restricted. Regular drop-in sessions and bite-sized training continue until round closure.
