Developing a multidisciplinary model of survivorship care for Australian men with prostate cancer on active surveillance

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia on an industry-focused PhD project aimed at addressing key challenges in the Health Care sector. This collaborative effort brings together academic expertise and industry insights to drive innovation and deliver real-world impact. 

The project, titled " Developing a multidisciplinary model of survivorship care for Australian men with prostate cancer on active surveillance " focuses on developing a multidisciplinary care model based on a best practice prostate cancer survivorship framework. It seeks to guide the delivery of care for men undergoing active surveillance for prostate cancer, to improve adherence, and delivery potentially substantial health-service cost savings.  

Collaborative Approach: 

Leveraging the University of Southern Queensland’s renowned expertise in health services research and Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia's industry leadership in prostate cancer research, awareness and support, this project epitomises a collaborative approach that bridges the gap between academia and industry.
