This webinar covers the 2024 updates to the GRLO National Industry PhD Programme. Key changes include increased funding amounts following a 7.4% indexation, with government contributions rising to $6,694 for industry-linked streams and $44,629 for industry researcher streams. The guidelines now clarify the 12-month eligibility rule, calculated from each round's closing date. A significant change requires industry partners in the researcher stream to be registered as body corporates, which can be verified through ABN lookup and ASIC records. Multiple student applications for the same project must now be submitted separately but will be assessed together. Round three opens 1 February and closes 15 March 2024, with 20 scholarships available for each stream. Projects are expected to commence in the second half of 2024.
