Campus Plus hosted a bite-sized session to update participants on the National Industry PhD (NIPHD) programme. Round Two received 128 applications for 44 awards, with the quality so high that 50 awards were granted instead. Successful applicants were notified, with unsuccessful applicants receiving feedback within 24 hours. The team welcomed new staff members Dr Anna Sampson (Regional Director) and Georgia Brown (Grants Associate). Round Three has been rescheduled to open 1 February 2024, closing 15 February, establishing a fixed cadence of February and August rounds annually. The team restructured regional director allocations across Australian universities. A new Salesforce-based platform will replace the ISEO system, with training commencing in December. The programme continues to grow, with the department pleased with progress.
